Michelle
Originally from Burlington, Wisconsin, Michelle brings not only extensive experience but a deep passion for patient care to her role as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated in 2005 from Northcentral Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science degree and holds dental hygiene licenses in both Wisconsin and Texas. Michelle is also certified to administer local anesthesia and has completed 33 continuing education hours in laser training, making her a certified laser safety officer. She regularly lends her expertise by helping teach laser courses in Chicago.
Michelle’s professional background includes working in prosthodontic, cosmetic, and holistic dental settings, but her true passion lies in improving the periodontal health of her patients. She finds the most joy in helping patients overcome specific challenges, offering tailored hygiene education, and celebrating their progress—often forming lasting friendships along the way.
At home, Michelle is happily married to her husband of 14 years, Daniel, and together they’re raising their two wonderful children, James and Salome. Their family just grew by one more with the addition of a playful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy named Scout.
When she’s not in the office, Michelle enjoys quilting, crocheting, gardening, and dreamily planning her off-the-grid, self-sustainable farm life. She’s also passionate about ministry work with her family. And while she’s been set on being a dental hygienist since the second grade, she also secretly dreams of becoming a stand-up comedian—just waiting for the right punchline!
