Dr. Christine Bruno first sparked her lifelong passion for dentistry while growing up in Oconomowoc, WI. As a teen, she assisted at her dentist’s office and found that she loved caring for neighbors and friends in the dental setting. She left Oconomowoc to attend St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN where she swam varsity all 4 years. Dr. Bruno graduated in 2011 with degrees in Economics and French. Though she enjoyed her studies, Dr. Bruno felt unfulfilled in the corporate endeavors after college. Early experiences in dentistry reminded her of how she could create a professional life while caring for others. Finally, in 2017, Dr. Bruno enrolled at Marquette University School of Dentistry, and she graduated with her degree in 2021. During dental school, she served as the volunteer coordinator for the special care dentistry group and coached special Olympics swimming.
Throughout her life, Dr. Bruno has found inspiration in endurance sports which require dedication and strength of mind. You can often find her competing in Ironman events, the American Birkebeiner, or various local running and cross-country ski races. Dr. Bruno’s problem solving personality, love of patient care, and fortitude make her a particularly great asset for Golden Oak Dental. She is excited to continue the tradition of excellence in serving patients at Golden Oak.
